GREBEL, Shirley Mildred -- Age 88, of Flushing, died June 13, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Oakwood Cemetery in Gaines. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Arrangements are being handed by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Flushing Historical Society. Shirley was born June 2, 1926, the daughter of Joseph J. and Mabel (Leslie) McCarthy. She retired from McLaren Flint. Surviving are: 2 children, David (Sharon) Auten of Grand Blanc, Shelia Auten of Swartz Creek; 4 grandchildren, Stacey, David Jr. Sarah, Paul; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Josclyn.
