Shirley Ann Hodgeson

Hodgeson, Shirley - Age 79, of Clio, died April 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 22, 2025 with visitation from 10:00-11:00am at Faith Baptist Church- Davison, 7306 E. Atherton Rd., Davison, MI 48423 with Pastor Shawn Kook officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21 from 5:00-8:00pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. In her memory contributions may be made to Faith Baptist School, 7306 E. Atherton Rd, Davison, MI 48423 .

Shirley was born March 14, 1946 in Naylor, Missouri, the daughter of John and Naomi (Mitchener) Goddard. On July 10, 1999 Shirley married Donald Hodgeson in Burton, MI. She worked at Builders Square for many years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Davison.

Shirley is survived by her husband Donald Hodgeson; son, Tim Webster (Chris), daughter, Tamyra Huss (Eric Baugher), step-sons, Kelvin Hodgeson (Deanna), Melvin Hodgeson, Michael Hodgeson (Colleen), step-daughter, Michelle Rierson (Mike), sister Janet White as well as 14 grandchildren: Zach, Josh, Taylor, Ryan, Brittany, Trey, Andrew, Jonathan, Ashley, Aaron, Rebekah, Zoren, Zeke and Zamiel (Alexis). She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Elaine Torrey. The family would like to thank all the nursing staff at Compassus Hospice, especially Greg, for their excellent care of Shirley.
