LONSBURY, Shirley Roseina - Age 65, of Fenton, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 10, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. Burial in Halsey Cemetery, Grand Blanc Township. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to South Mundy United Methodist Church. Shirley was born July 15, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Carl and Jennie (Waterous) Hendricks. She was a 1965 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. She married David Wayne Lonsbury July 9, 1966 at Lake Fenton United Methodist Church in Fenton. She was a member of the Flint and Thumb Area Sweet Adelines's. Surviving are: husband, David; 3 sons, David of Fenton, Jason of Fenton, and Ryan (Shelly) of Holly; 6 grandchildren, Mariah, Austin, Nicholas, Ethan, Ella, and Lauren; mother, Jennie Vincent of Fenton; mother-in-law, Frances Lonsbury of Fenton; 2 sisters, Norma (Harold) Smith of Fenton and Maryann (Chris) Podjun of Casper, WY; brother, Bruce (Myrna) Hendricks of Millersburg; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Hendricks; father-in-law, Hugh Lonsbury and brother-in-law, Douglas Lonsbury.
