Shirley Marie MORSE

MORSE, Shirley Marie - Age 80, of Fenton, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Dean Dumbrille will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Shirley was born August 11, 1929 in Argentine, the daughter of Delbert and Vera (Austin) Taylor. She was married to Marvin D. Morse on November 5, 1948; he preceded her in death in 1986. Surviving are: children, Marva (Tim) DeRue, Andrea (Bob) Marrs, Diana Swallow, Marsha (Dave) Soyka, Marvin (Pat) Morse, Michael Morse; son-in-law, Jimmie Oxendine; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
