Shirley Taylor

TAYLOR, Shirley Anne (Noles) - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Private graveside service will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.

Shirley was born on August 12, 1935 in Marion, N.C. the daughter of Ernest and Nita (Clayton) Noles. She was a homemaker and worked for the Swartz Creek Bakery for several years. She was married to the late Robert Taylor. Shirley was a former Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed being with her family, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading, going to the casino and Cheerios. Shirley loved dogs and was passionate about her dog, Ziggy, and searching the Sunday paper adds for blue jean deals.

She is survived by her daughters, Delores Lintz and Renea Morgan; 5 grandchildren, Tracey Landis, Ryan Landis, Taylor Busch, Kara Templeton and Chancelor Huth; and 6 great-grandchildren, Ava, Brandon, Hunter, Kennedy, Marleigh and Rowen Landis.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor; parents, Ernest and Nita Noles; and sister, Betty Mae Queen. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
