Shirley Vincent

VINCENT, Shirley Ann - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 surrounded by family. Services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM Thursday until the time of the service. Shirley was born June 30, 1931 in Argentine Township the daughter of George and Ruby (Ballard) Lobdell. She married Fred L.Vincent October 29, 1948 in Swartz Creek and he preceded her in death July 31, 2014. She retired form Auto City Distributors in 1989. Shirley loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and casinos with her sister Rose. Surviving are: children, Carol (Roy) Vorachek of Flushing, Fred (Susan) Vincent of Byron, and Cathy (the late Frank) Hyrman of Swartz Creek; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; brother, David (Rosemary) Lobdell of Gaines; sister, Virginia (James) Warram of Punta Gorda, FL; and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald and Douglas Lobdell; sisters, Rosemary Nagy and Mildred Straughen.
