Sidney Adkison

ADKISON, Sidney George - Age 62, of Burton, died February 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, February 5 at Fellowship Baptist Church 14046 N. Saginaw St. Clio, Mi. Visitation will be held 3-7PM Saturday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Sidney was born December 11, 1955 in Flint, the son of John Henry and Leva (Edick) Adkison. He was a member of Local 190 Pipefitters Union. Sidney retired in 2015. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Sidney is survived by his wife: Sherry; three children: Raymond Blake of Burton, Todd (Terri) Blake of Fremont, Tonia (Josh) Herron of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; grandchildren: Nolan, Hunter, Alex, Theron, and Georgie Blake, Joshua, Noah, and Chloe Polanski, Emmalee Herron; great-grandchildren: Eowyn and Imogen Blake; sister: Eileen (Gary) Nelson; two brothers: John (Chong) Adkison, Tim Adkison; several nieces and nephews; and close friends.
