Sidney Jenkins

JENKINS, Sidney Arthur "Sid" - Age 67, of Fenton, died Thursday, January 5, 2017. Private Graveside services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430. Sid was born February 9, 1949 in Flint, the son of William and Thelma (Vaughan) Jenkins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Evelyn May Richards July 18, 1970 in Flint. Sid retired from GM Chevrolet V-8 Engine Plant after 30 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 659 and a former member of the Old Newsboys. Surviving are: his wife, Evelyn; daughters, Amy Jenkins of Fenton and Andrea (Mike) Birckelbaw of Fenton; grandchildren, Emma and Leim; brother, Vic (Bonney) Jenkins; and nieces and nephews.
