Sondra Bigelow

BIGELOW, Sondra Jane- Age 85 of Swartz Creek, passed away March 26, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on 11:30AM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3139 Hogarth Ave, Flint Fr. Anthony Strouse celebrant. Burial in Flint Memorial Park to follow. Visitation will be held at the church 9:30AM until the time of service.
Sondra was born February 14, 1936 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Frank Maier and Agnes (McCarthy) Maier. She married John "Jack" Bigelow in Flint on April 29, 1972. Sondra was very passionate about her desire to be a stay-at-home mom. She worked at Grand Blanc Stamping Plant in the payroll department for 18 years. Sondra enjoyed travel, gardening, and housekeeping.
Sondra is survived by: husband, John "Jack"; children, Linda (Michael) Waider, David (Julie) Bigelow, and Christopher (Shawana) Bigelow; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Cheryl) Maier; several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Jack Bigelow's extended family and Shelley Bigelow. Sondra is preceded in death by her parents, Carol Ann Evans, and Beverly Ashford.
