Stacey Ann McKee

March 13, 1963 — May 7, 2025

Linden

McKEE, Stacey Ann - Age 62, of Linden, returned to peace Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Stacey was born March 13, 1963 in Houston, TX, the daughter of Rufus Elwin and Deloris Ray (Asbeck) Whisenant. She always spoke with pride of the strength and humility she learned growing up in the small town of Coldspring, TX. There she graduated from high school and went on to further her education, earning a degree at Sam Houston State University. After moving to Michigan, she extended her skills and expertise into sales and marketing. Stacey spent the last 20 years working at CU Solutions Group where she deeply cared and served her clients before retiring in 2024. She’s made many meaningful and loving friendships along the way including meeting the love of her life, Stephen Michael McKee, whom she married on October 27, 2003. They shared 23 beautiful years of life together.

Stacey was remarkably talented, be it her artistry, crave-worthy cooking, exceptional ability to relate to others, or attention to detail in all aspects of life. She was genuine, kind, generous, supportive to those she knew and loved, and brightened spirits simply by being herself. She had an impeccable balance of grace, elegance, determination, and level-headedness. Every day and with each interaction she exemplified those characteristics. Always looking at the best of a situation, she inspired everyone to be the best version of themselves. She was quick to offer support and made her time about bettering the world around her. She was always the light in the room, an eternal optimist, and effortless beauty.

The world lost a deeply loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Gigi, and Friend to so many. She is survived by her husband, Stephen; her children, Catherine (Drew) Mynar, Elizabeth (Joe) Sirl, and Andrew (Kaitlin) Borin; her grandsons, Parker Sirl, Ayden Borin, and Oliver Borin; her brothers, Chris (Mary) Whisenant and Brian (Krista Jenkins) Whisenant; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Deloris Whisenant.
