Stanley Robbins

ROBBINS, Stanley Gordon - Age 77, of Hopkins, MI, formerly of Fenton, passed away November 13, 2019.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday November 21, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.  Visitation will be 4-9 PM Wednesday; and 12 PM until the time of service Thursday.  Interment in West Haven Cemetery, Owosso.  Those desiring may make contributions to Faith Hospice at https://faithhospicecare.org/services/trillium-woods/

Stanley was born June 4, 1942 in Flint, the son of Gordon and Lillian (O'Green) Robbins.  He was a graduate of Fenton High School and Western Michigan University.  Mr. Robbins was a school teacher at Fenton Middle School from September of 1968 to July of 1997.  He was a former board member at Sandy Pines Resort.  Stanley enjoyed golfing, gardening, and coin collecting.  He was incredibly giving and also enjoyed sharing his hobbies with other family members.

Surviving are: children, Yvonne (Michael) Penrod, Tammie (Ron) DuQuette, Debbie Carrier, Chris (Melissa) Robbins, Lisa Jacobson, Tami (Eddie) Husak, Michael Robbins; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and sister, Jacqueline (Dave) LaFerney.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; "the two loves of his life" Gayle Robbins and Ruth Robbins; daughter, Diana Miller; sister, Patricia Reich; and brother, Gordon Robbins.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
