Stanley Paul Steck III - Age 91, of Linden, passed away May 17, 2025. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, June 23, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (www.t2t.org). Stanley was born October 29, 1933 in Greenwich, CT, the son of the late Stanley Paul and Adeline (Gewerth) Steck Jr. Stanley was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Korean War. He married Susan Jean Baumann on June 29, 1957 in Racine, WI. He was a graduate of Michigan State University and went on to work as the school psychologist for Pontiac School System, retiring in 1993. Following retirement, he and Susan wintered in Briney Breezes, FL, where he was a member of the Chiseler's Club. Stanley was a past member of Spring Meadows Country Club and Michigan Association of School Psychologists. He is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Eric Steck, Lisa (Gary) Buel, Kurt (Annette) Steck, Stanley Paul (Kali) Steck IV; grandchildren, Racheal, Matthew, Patrick, Stephen, Derek, Megan and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Daisy, Piper, Grant, Landon, Layla; siblings, Pat (Larry) Ciminelli, Julie King, Jim (Susan) Steck, Margaret McLear; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn (David) Jones; brother-in-law, Jim King. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
