TENCZA, Stanley Edward - Age 86, of Fenton, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 14, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Dale Swihart officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. Stanley was born December 15, 1926 in Edwardsville, PA, the son of Joseph and Hedwig (Wiacek) Tencza. He married Florence E. Igrisan on October 7, 1950 in Detroit. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy; he served in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters on a mine sweeper as a radio operator. Stanley was a graduate of Detroit Institute of Technology and had attended University of Detroit and Wayne State University. He retired in 1986 from AC Spark Plug as a Logistic Manager, after 30 years of service. Stanley resided in Fenton since September of 1973 coming from Livonia and Detroit. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. Surviving are: wife of 62 years, Florence; 2 daughters, Karen McGinnis and Eliza Tencza; grandson, Brendan James McGinnis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Josephine Regula, Helen Labatch, and Frances Tencza; and 3 brothers, John Tencza, Joseph Tencza, and Edward Tencza.
