Stella Johnson

JOHNSON, Stella M., age 99, of Burton, died September 26, 2020. Private Graveside Services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM, Wednesday, September 30 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.

Stella was born April 27, 1921 in Flint, the daughter of John and Gizella Stella (Harangarzs) Vock. She and her husband, Carl owned and operated Carl and Stells Grocery Store in Burton, until retiirement. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, horse racing, coloring books, and going to the casino. She is survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one son-in-law; one brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughters, Stella Winifred and Marie Ann Keel; son, Carl A. Johnson, Jr.; and grandsons, Artie and Troy.
