Stephen Strom

STROM, Stephen Glen - Age 61, of Fenton, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, July 21, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Robbie Carnes officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Stephen G. Strom Memorial Fund, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Stephen was born January 6, 1956 in Flint, the son of Robert Ryan and Gail Lorraine (Hagerman) Strom. He is a 1974 graduate of Fenton High School. He married Valerie Prieur March 1, 1999 in LasVagas. He retired from VG's Grocery and then worked for Twice New Consignment in Fenton. Stephen enjoyed fishing, camping, cars, and was an avid music fan, He especially liked Led Zeppelin. Surviving are: his wife, Valerie; children, Christopher Strom of Flint Township, Amy Lynn (Travis) Kamen of Colorado, David Wallace of North Carolina, Benjamin David (Alya) Strom of Holly, Madison Strom of Grand Rapids, Patrick Wallace of Ann Arbor, and Rachel Burtch of Flint; 6 grandchildren; father, Robert Strom of Linden; brothers, Daniel (Robin) Strom of North Carolina and David Strom of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
