BURTON, Susan Marie (Matthess) - Age 55 , of Flint, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 . Funeral services will be held 12Pm Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Daniel Botsford officiating. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Tuesday and again 11AM until time of service Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Susie was born in Flint, Michigan on December 14, 1958. She was a collector of many things including dolls, stuffed animals and trinkets. She loved movies and animals. She worked for PSI for many years. Surviving are: husband Brian Matthess of Flint; sons, Christopher Plyler of Flint, Joshua Plyler of Grand Blanc; step daughter, Stephanie Matthess of White Lake, Michigan, 2 grandchildren; brothers, Danny Voss, Joey Combs, Tony Combs. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for their love and support.
