Suzana Amaya

AMAYA, Suzana - age 91, of Gaines, died January 16, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48507 with Pastor Abe Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. She was born August 11, 1930 in Shepherd, MI, the daughter of Juan and Maximiana (Lopez) Hurtado. Suzana was a Nurse Aide for many years at Clara Barton Nursing Home and St. Joseph Hospital. Surviving are: daughter, Carmen (Greg) Cole of Texas; son,  Alfonso (Jeanette) Amaya of Gaines; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion Padilla and Paula Castro; brother-in-law, Roy Castro. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Faustino Amaya; son, Tino Amaya; and siblings, Charles Hurtado, Carol Guana, and Antonia Castro. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
