Suzanne O'Donnell-Sumey

O'DONNELL-SUMEY, Suzanne - Age 76, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden (The service be live streamed and can be viewed via Suzanne's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. David Harvey officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Suzanne was born March 1, 1950 in Detroit, the daughter of James and Stella (Brown) O'Donnell. She was a 1968 graduate of St. Mary of Redford Catholic High School. She married David Raymond Sumey August 6, 2005 in Livonia and he preceded her in death September 18, 2025. She had resided in Fenton for the past 15 years coming from Livonia. Suzanne retired from The Leukemia Society of America as a fund raiser. She also had been employed by The Parade Company and Children's Hospital of Detroit both as a fund raiser. She enjoyed quilting, baking, and cooking.

Surviving are: her daughter, Michelle Sumey of Harper Woods; grandchildren, Danielle, Shane, Madison, and Mikayla; great grandchildren, Stella, Elijah, Noah, and Ezrah; sister, Mary(O'Donnell) Trewartha of Linden; brother, Patrick (Beverly) O'Donnell of Howell; and her loving, Benny.
