Tanner Michael DOWNS

DOWNS, Tanner Michael, age 22, of Flushing, formerly Lennon, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Funeral Services will be 10:00AM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Lennon United Methodist Church, 1014 Oak St., Lennon. Pastor Don Phillips and Pastor Mike Ligman officiating. Burial will follow at Yerian Cemetery, Corunna. Visitation will be Friday 11AM- 1PM and 5-8PM at Lennon United Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Tanner was born August 13, 1990 in Flint the son of Robert Downs and Lori Ligman Downs. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Owosso. Tanner was employed by Little Caesars since the age of 17, most currently as assistant manager. In his free time, Tanner was a power lifter; enjoyed playing guitar, writing music and was a great artist. He loved his son more than anything, and was a devoted father. Surviving are: mother, Lori Downs; father, Robert Downs(Darlene Ridley); son, Kage Michael Downs and his mother, Nikki O'Connor; 2 brothers, Dallas Downs, Jamie Stowe; 3 sisters, Sierra Stowe, Sheyenne Stowe, Tina Ellsworth (Jeremy); grandparents, Paul and Lois Ligman, Dorothy Bliss, Robert and Linda Downs, Jack and Shirley Dutcher; aunts and uncles, Gary (Louie) Ligman, Michael (Dianne) Ligman, Craig Ligman, Jeffrey Bliss, Aunts and uncles, Aleana (Brian) Bliss, Juanita Downs, Melissa Downs, Shari Doss, Valerie Bliss, Deb Wilkerson, Cindy Wilson, Susie Patterson; several cousins and many good friends.
