Teresa Abbey

ABBEY, Teresa Kay - age 68, of Linden, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linden. Visitation will be held 1-5 PM Sunday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Abbey was born March 27, 1947 in Flint the daughter of Robert and Lexie (Dodd) Walker. She married Howard Dale Abbey on September 4, 1971 and he preceded her in death on November 21, 1999. Mrs. Abbey retired from General Motors with over 40 years of service. She enjoyed traveling especially up north and to Florida. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with family. Surviving are: daughter, Dawn and husband (Matthew) Matuscak of Gaines; two grandchildren, Darren and Kaitlyn Matuscak; companion, Jim McIntyre; life-long friends, Don and Linda Wallace, Darlene and Michael Ouiellette, the Nowiki family and the Barkiewicz Family.
