Teresa Leverenz

LEVERENZ, Teresa Mae - Age 69, of Redford, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 20, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Teresa's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Burial in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contribution to a Humane Society of your choice.

Teresa was born January 23, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Gerald and Jessie (Lunderville) McDonald.  She was a 1972 graduate of Wayne Memorial High School.  She had resided in Redford for the past 10 years coming from Canton.  She retired after 30 years of service from Big Lots as a bookkeeper.  Teresa enjoyed her pets and family.

Surviving are: her children, Peggy (Toby) Schmittou of Belleville, April (Tadd) Kempainen of Howell and Charley (Amber) Leverenz of Howell; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Sue (Bill) Henning of North Carolina, Cindy (Eric) Hundshamer of Flushing and Wendy (Mike) Messler of Flushing; brother, Jerry McDonald of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rhonda Kraus; and niece, Jennifer Kapp.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
