Terry was born on June 19, 1956, in Durand, Michigan, the daughter of Eugene and Anita (Barney) Tallman. She graduated from Durand High School in 1974. Terry and Larry Luchenbill were united in marriage on May 27, 1978. She would stay home to raise her children and tend to the home for many years until she devoted 11 years of her professional life to Macy's as a sales associate until she retired in 2008. Terry was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was known as a great listener, always eager to lend an ear and provide support to family and friends. Terry loved spending every moment with her family and the lights of her life, her four grandchildren. Terry was creative through her numerous hobbies: she enjoyed making jewelry, crafting, and showcasing her artistic flair wherever she could. Terry had a special interest in arranging flowers, which played a role in many weddings. Gardening also held a special place in her heart, allowing her to nurture beauty around her home.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Luchenbill; son, Jason (Jennifer) Luchenbill; daughters, Amanda Luchenbill and Shandra (Erik) Hornung; and four cherished grandchildren, Christian, Jenna Lynn, Ellianna and Brenden. She is also survived by her mother, Anita Tallman; and her siblings, Clifford (Vickie) Tallman, Victoria (Scott) Osborn, Patricia (Robert) Cotton, Bryan (Sandi) Tallman, Chris (Tina) Tallman, and Rachelle Tallman.
Terry was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Tallman. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
