Theda Rizpah "Riz" GLUTSCH

GLUTSCH, Theda Rizpah "Riz" - age 95, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at her residence. Services will be held 1 PM Friday, January 31, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment will be held later at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-3 and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Meals on Wheels of Livingston County or Make A Wish Foundation. Mrs. Glutsch was born March 15, 1918 in Davisburg, MI, the daughter of Reuben O. and Bernice (Dehoff) Potter. She married Donald Glutsch on November 25, 1939 and he preceded her in death. Surviving are: daughter, Gail Dake of Fenton; 8 grandchildren, Randy Pittenger and companion, Tim Pittenger, Jerry Pittenger and companion, Donald Glutsch and companion, Christopher Glutsch, Tina Dake, Nancy (Dean) Morton, and Lynda Grant; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; daughter-in-law, Sue Glutsch of Bluffton, SC; son-in-law, Robert Pittenger of Holly; sister, Imogene Claypool of Scottsville; two brothers, Clarence Potter of Cheboygan and Albert Potter of Grand Blanc; two sisters-in-law, Marian Potter of Clarkston and Evelyn Voorhies of Durand; many nieces and nephews. Theda was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, two sons, Donald K Glutsch and Wayne Glutsch, daughter, Sandra Pittenger, two sisters, Ruby Havens and Ardith Benz-McCarthy, two brothers, Lee Potter and Wendall Potter.
