Theresa Jean Anderson

Theresa Jean Anderson, of Fenton, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Warwick Trails Assisted Living. She was 83 years old.

Born August 2, 1943, in Dayton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Charles and Alma Jean (Pelley) Torline. Theresa was a longtime member of the Fenton Free Methodist Church. She worked for 40 years as a Mary Kay Consultant. In her younger years she was the State Champion in both roller-skating as well as figure-skating. Most of all she was devoted to her family whether coaching her daughter’s softball teams or all the time spent together as she and her siblings and their children took many trips and outings together.

Theresa is survived by her children: daughters Tracey Hopkinson and Kelley Leselie (Richard), son Richard Anderson Jr. (Tana) ; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Baird, Alxis Walker (Craig), Brittany Wilson (Mike), Celeste Sutherland, Tyler Ray Sutherland, Tabatha Anderson-O’Donnell, Jacob Anderson and Charles Anderson; three great grandchildren, Dixi, Ryker and River; one sister Joyce Wright (Terry); a sister-in-law Carol Torline; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Anderson Sr.; son-in-law Brad Hopkinson and a brother Donald Torline.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1:00pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, with Pastor Tony Chick officiating. Private entombment will take place at Tyrone Memory Gardens. There will be visitation from 11:00am until time of the service.
