Armstrong (Silva), Theresa Ann - Age 47, of Flint., died Saturday July 13, 2013. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM Wednesday July 17, 2013, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, G-2316 W. Coldwater Rd. Flint. Father Cecilio Reyna celebrant. Burial at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery following mass. Visitation will be held 5PM to 8PM Monday and 12PM to 8PM Tuesday with a rosary, scripture service to be said at 7PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Memorial contribution may be made to the Armstrong children education fund. Theresa was born in Flint, the daughter of Jose G. and Angeline (Perez) Silva. Theresa married Patrick Armstrong in Flint, on December 20, 1991. She graduated form U of M Flint with a Bachelors of Business Degree. Theresa was the co-founder of Sugarhigh Bakery of Frankenmuth. Mrs. Armstrong retired from the State of Michigan as manager of the office of the Inspector General with 22 years of service. Theresa loved being with her children and making sure everyone was taken care of. Surviving are: husband, Patrick of Flint; children, Christopher Armstrong, Kyle Armstrong, Amanda Armstrong and Nickolas Armstrong all of Flint; mother Angeline Silva of Flint; brothers, Joe (April) Silva of St. Helen, Mark (Dawn) Silva of Flushing, Robert (Stephanie) Silva of Macomb, Ray Silva of Davison, Tony (Pam) Silva of Flint; sister Alicia (Jacob) McAuliffe of Flint; many nieces and nephews; father-in-law, John Armstrong of Flint.
