Thomas Edmonds

EDMONDS, Thomas Harold - Age 83, of Burton, died March 8, 2021. A private family service will be held 11AM Monday, March 22 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Pastor Joel McCrandall officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Public visitation will be held 4PM-8PM Sunday and 10AM until time of service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Thomas was born October 9, 1937 in Flint, the son of Charles and Blanche (Banning) Edmonds. He married Janet Carr in Flint on April 19, 1958. She preceded him in death May 4, 2015. Mr. Edmonds for over 50 years reupholstered and did body work on automobiles, 40 of those years he worked for South Flint Body Shop. Thomas enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing.  Thomas is survived by his children, Harold (fianc'e, Deborah Wright) Edmonds of FL., Arthur (Diana) Edmonds of IN., Laurie (Mark) Florida of Roscommon, Joseph (Sheryl) Edmonds of Burton; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, William Edmonds of Royal Oak, Elaine Kile of McMillian, Thelma (Albert) Snider of Flint; sister-in-law Betty Edmonds of Clio; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Blanche Edmonds; brother Harvey Edmonds; sister-in-law, Ella Edmonds and brother-in-law, Marlowe Kile.
