Thomas "Ed" Medlin, age 70, of Fenton, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He will be laid to rest next to his late wife, Catherine, at Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton. Ed was born on June 1, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late James L.& Marcella A. Medlin. He attended Clarkston High School. Ed was employed with Applegate Chevrolet for many years. He married the love of his life, Catherine "Katie" Medlen on October 26, 1980.
In his early years he enjoyed men's bowling leagues, of which he bowled a 300-game earning his name on the wall of fame at Cherry Hill Lanes in Clarkston. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and sports like baseball and football. Since his retirement he was an early riser at 5am daily. Since his days started off so early, he was always ready to eat dinner by 11am! Throughout the years he and Katie had several Chihuahuas they adored.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Zach) Malley and Sarah (David) Medlin; stepdaughter, Amy Medlen; 5 grandchildren, Hayley, Hunter, Erica, Alex and Evan. He is further survived by other dear family members and Pixie the Chihuahua.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Katie, on December 22, 2015, and his siblings, Laura Keys, Sandy Kickery and Bill Medlin.
