Thomas A. "Tom" North

North, Thomas A. "Tom" - age 76 of Fenton, formerly of Flint, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on May 17, 2026. In accordance with Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside committal service will be held at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mount Morris, Michigan - date & time to be announced. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's memory to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Tom was born on August 10, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to the late Thomas & Maxine (Parkinson) North. He graduated from Flint Northwestern High School in 1969 and soon after his grocery career with Kroger and later, Brownberry Premium Breads. He was an avid Detroit Tiger's and Lion's fan. Tom enjoyed league bowling, camping and he cherished the time that he spent with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his children, Michael North of Swartz Creek; Joyce (Douglas) Thompson of Mears; Richard (Maria) of Fenton. Grandchildren, Thomas (Caitlin); Emma Thompson; Ryan Thompson. Great grandchildren, Zander; Nolan and Cameron North. Siblings, Dawn Randall of Missouri and Sheryl (Paul) Hunt of Texas. Nieces also survive. Tom was welcomed into heaven by his parents.
