Thomas Shelby Sr.

SHELBY, Thomas Michael Sr. - Age 74, of Swartz Creek, died February 27, 2015. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Thomas was born November 23, 1940 in Flint the son of Franklin and Marie (Raubinger) Shelby. He married Marie Ann Cienki on November 9, 1968 she preceded him in death on April 20, 2012. He retired from Swartz Creek Schools. Surviving are daughter, Amy Leon of Grand Blanc; son, Thomas Shelby Jr. of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Vanessa Leon, Thomas Shelby III, Isabella Shelby, Helene Shelby, Maelynn Shelby; sisters, Margaret Ballenger and Beth Simkins; several nieces and nephews.
