Thomas Smith

SMITH, Thomas Carl- Age 84 of Swartz Creek, died March 20, 2016. A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday May 17, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project. Thomas was born March 11, 1932 in Flint to Carl and Helen (German) Smith. He married Phyllis G. Harmon on March 23, 1973. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served his country during the Korean War. He enjoyed spending time snowmobiling, bowling, and woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Phyllis; children; Joseph (Evelyn) Smith, Sherry Smith, David, Brian, Gregory and Bradley Borgerding thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
