Thomas Zuck

ZUCK, Thomas Richard - age 71, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at McLaren - Flint. Funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Dwight Ezop officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday and 11 AM until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice. Mr. Zuck was born November 21, 1942 in Jackson, the son of Cloyd J. and Wilma (Plummer) Zuck. He received a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University and married Jane Johnson on May 31, 1975. Mr. Zuck retired from Hurley Medical Center as a Pharmacist in 2008 after 31 years of service. He was a member of Flushing Rifle and Pistol Club, the N.R.A, North American Hunting Club and he was a D.N.R. Hunter Education Instructor. Mr. Zuck was also a life member of Optimist International. Surviving are: wife, Jane; six children, Margaret (Paul) Durkee of Milan, Larry Sheets of Swartz Creek, Lori (Doug) McLeod of Grand Blanc, Jay Sheets of CA, Thomas E. (Jeannie) Zuck of Flushing, Angela Zuck (Rob Dowds) of Ypsilanti; seven grandchildren, Gwen, Daniel, Jacob, Noah, Megan, Katherine, and Anna; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Blake, Edwin and Debra; four siblings, Mary McMeeken of Belding, MI, Jerry (Karen) Zuck of IN, Ann (Fred) Bauman of IN, Eric (Cheryl) Zuck of AL; aunts, Ella Working of FL, Irene Wynn of Dearborn; many nieces and nephews.
