Timothy "Tim" George Burgess

Burgess, Timothy "Tim" - age 69 of Mt. Morris, formerly of Genesee, went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2026. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Tim's life will be announced and held. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Tim to the Humane Society of Genesee County (www.geneseehumane.com).

Tim was born on August 12, 1956 in Flint, Michigan to the late George Junior and Dolores Helen (Gee) Burgess. He attended the Genesee Schools and was known as an outgoing friendly man who never met a stranger. Tim loved the Lord, and he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering, and spoiling his dogs

Surviving are his children, Hope (Jason) Thomas of San Diego, CA and Brian (Melodie) Burgess of Flushing. Grandchildren, Jacob Burgess; Emma Burgess; Dylan Thomas. Siblings, Steve (Peggy) Burgess; Jill (Buzz) Purcell; Mitch (Amy) Burgess. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and Tim's furry companions, Popeye, Dayton and Scooby. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Barry.
