ADAMS, Tom "Little T" -- Age 69, of Durand, died August 18, 2015. Services will be held 11 AM Monday August 24, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Family and friends may gather at 10:45 AM at the cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project. Tom was born July 8, 1946 in Paragould AR. the son of Tom and Mildred L. (Pickens) Adams. He married Joyce Bigelow in Flint on June 15, 1968. Tom was a Veteran of the U.S. Army - 9th Infantry Division serving in Vietnam. He retired from GM Buick. He was a member of the American Legion of Flushing. He spent his winters in Texas. His passion was playing golf, and he was a people person. He is survived by his wife Joyce; 2 children, Tonya Vondrasek (Rich) of Grand Blanc, Derek (Jamie) Adams of Fenton; 7 grandchildren, Peighton, Samantha, Jared, London, Ryan, Jena and Drew; sister, Peggy (R.W.) Duckett of Flint; brother, Charlie Adams of Swartz Creek; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
