Valerie Hempsall

HEMPSALL, Valerie Lorene - Age 57, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Memorial service and Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.

Valerie was born on January 2, 1963, in Flint, the daughter of John and Carol (Brazeal) Hempsall. She graduated from Linden High School and has B.S.W from U of M. Valerie worked at Family Promise in Flint as a Social Worker. She volunteered her time to the Turners Foundation and Swartz Creek United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Hempsall; sister, Cheryl (Tim) Reilly; brother, Shawn (Christine) Hempsall; special cousins Bill Brazeal and Wendy Majeske; 4 nieces, Megan Luckity, Jessica Reilly, Rebecca Reilly and Alexandra Hempsall; special friends, Kathy Hresko and Mike Hobson; and she loved her "fur babies."
