Velma Lucille Patton

PATTON, Velma Lucille - Age 90, of Flushing, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Kra-Nur Manor. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township, with Pastor Robert Easlick officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Leukemia Foundation. Mrs. Patton was born May 31, 1920 in Jonesboro, AR, the daughter of Charles and Nora (Harvey) Carpenter. She married Dale O. Patton October 28, 1945 and he preceded her in death July 9, 1976. Surviving are: 2 sons, Charles and wife Joyce Cole of Clio and Dale and wife Susie Patton of California; daughter, Jannette and husband Paul Brown of Grand Blanc; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
