Venus Ann Besteman

Besteman, Venus Ann (nee Pratt) - Age 60, of Flint, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on December 24, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery to follow. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.

Venus was born February 22, 1963 in Grand Blanc, the daughter of Lawrence and Norma (Russell) Pratt. She dedicated her life to her children and family. Venus is survived by her husband, Cornelius Besteman; children, Casandra (Chris) Riel of Gnadenhutten, Ohio, Dean Gilliam of Sanford, ME, Jesse Gilliam of Columbia, TN.; grandchildren, Abigail King, Colten Riel, Levi and Ethan Riel, Kalven and Dawson Gilliam; father, Lawrence Pratt; 4 other children also survive as well as grandchildren as well as siblings. Venus was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Pratt; brothers, Terry and Joseph Pratt.
