Vickie Hoover

HOOVER, Vickie Jane - Age 67, of Linden, died June 30, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. Don Neuville will officiate. Visitation will be held 2-7 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make a contribution to the children's charity or school system of their choice in Vickie's name. Vickie was born February 19, 1950 in Durand, the daughter of Jay W. and Frances (Parks) Ward. She was married to James Hoover on November 27, 1971. Mrs. Hoover earned a Bachelors Degree from U of M Flint, a Masters Degree from Oakland University and an Educational Specialist Degree from Wayne State University. She was a teacher at Linden Schools for many years. Surviving are her husband, James; children, Christopher (Stephanie) Hoover, Karri Hoover (Kenneth Kominek), Kimberly Hoover (Joseph Genore); grandchildren, Amber and Brett Miller, Lauryn Hoover, Alexis Rank and Caleb Hoover; mother, Frances "Bonnie" Ward; brother, Lonnie (Patti) Ward.
