PARKER, Vickie Marie (Fries) - age 64, of Swartz Creek and Melbourne, FL, died October 10, 2019. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday, October 14, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 PM - 2 PM Monday at the funeral home. Vickie was born February 14, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of George and Shirley (Latesky) Fries. She was employed at GMSPO as a Security Supervisor for many years. She was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed spending time up north fishing and the winters in Florida with her children. Surviving are: husband, Steven Parker; children, Kristina (Matt) Thompson, and Scott Malinowski; her husband's children, Tina (Dan) Burton and Steven Parker and her husband's grandchildren; mother, Shirley Fries; brothers, Tom Fries. George (Dolly) Fries, and Larry (Sue) Fries; three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her father, George Fries. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
