Vincent was born December 27, 1966 in Flint, the son of Benjamin Cecil Thomas Jr. and June Joan (Haskell) Thomas. He was a 1985 graduate of Carman High School. Vincent worked for Lear in Fenton, and Lear in Auburn Hills, and also Faurecia. He loved fixing cars, his prize possession was his 1975 Nova that he restored. Vincent always enjoyed taking the kids to Monster Jam. He always had a dad joke ready. Vincent wanted people to know the Lord.
He loved his kids and was very proud of them. Vincent loved his grandson Cayden very much. He cherished the time with him and that he was able to babysit him as an infant and toddler; and then pick him up from school once he had started. He was very proud of his daughter-in-law Alana. He always felt she was a wonderful addition to the family and he was always so thankful for her help with medical treatments that he had to have at home from time to time. Vincent was proud of his son Nate's accomplishments in life especially being a good son, good husband to Alana, and a good father to Cayden. He loved working with Nate on cars, showing him how to fix them or building and repairing things around the house. Vincent was proud of his daughter Heather with her pursuing her dream to become a nurse.
