Virginia M. NARKUN

NARKUN, Virginia (Virgie) was born on December 17, 1929 the daughter of Anthony "Henry" and Genevieve Gorske. She had two brothers, Leonard and George. She married Stanley Narkun on February 19, 1949. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1999. Virginia was the most generous, kind and funny person with a huge heart. She loved music and dancing, spending time with her family and having pizza, talking with her friends, giving the weather report, watching soccer games, and all of her pink, beige and gold treasures. She was ALWAYS beaming with pride for her family. They were her heart and joy. Surviving are her beloved daughter, Michelle "Mishk" and devoted son-in-law Aaron, "sweetheart" granddaughter Jeni and husband Nick, "her baby" grandson Colin, "darling" great-grandchildren Stella and Violet, her kindhearted "2nd daughter" Kelly, and many other cherished family members and friends. Virginia was lovingly cared for at West Hickory Haven Nursing Center. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to ALL of the staff. Their genuine love and top-notch care means so much. In lieu of flowers, those desiring, may make contributions to the Salvation Army, an organization that was dear to Virginia's heart.
