Virginia Robinson

ROBINSON, Virginia Ruetta (Sanders) - age 98, died Friday, November 14, 2014 at Prestige Pointe, "this grandmother was made of love." Mrs. Robinson was born in Campbell, MO. July 8, 1916 to Henry Hyless and Alpha Enola Sanders, but was raised by her father and beloved second mother Maggie Lucille; after the death of her birth mother. Her family moved to Flint in 1928 where she was a 1935 graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Lynn F. Robinson March 22, 1936 and from this marriage of 55 years, they were blessed with their son, James Lynn; two daughters, Patricia Ann and Norma Jean. She is survived by son Jim (Phyllis); daughter, Norma Jean; grandchildren, Brian (Nancy) NeSmith, Donta Warren, Theresa Cook, Dawn (Geoffrey) Crawley, Michael Robinson, Shelley (Mitch) Carroll, Julie (Larry) Santamour, Stephen Robinson, Scott Gear, Andrea (Michael) Wilder, Virginia (Mark) Mocha, Bonnie Stephens, Yvonne (Bruce) Stephens, Steven Hartman and Paul Jones; 36 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Ovena) Sanders; sister, Mary Lee (Frank) Strubler. She was preceded in death by husband, Lynn; daughter, Patricia; granddaughter, Angela; brothers, Bill, Vernon, Gerald and Hank. She happily looked forward to the time foretold in Isaiah 65:21-2, when this earth will become a paradise and death will be no more. Virginia requested cremation and no service.
