Vivian Lavon Lawson

LAWSON, Vivian Lavon - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023.  Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Monday, July 24, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor Harold Burkholder officiating.  Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.  

Vivian was born May 17, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Perry and Agnes (Stipp) White.  She was a 1952 graduate of Dye High School.  She married Elvin Lawson December 26, 1954 in Flint and he preceded her in death December 7, 2019.  She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1980 coming from Flint.  Vivian was a member of North Baptist Church.  

Surviving are: her children, Charlotte Lawson of Sarasota, FL, Terry (Daphine) Lawson of Swartz Creek and Jamie Lawson of Swartz Creek; granddaughter, Ashley (Brett) Carlson of Virginia Beach, VA; great grandson, Zander Carlson; brother, Lowell White of Flushing; sister, Cheryl Finn of Charlotte, NC; and nieces and nephews.
