Vivian Secrist

Vivian Jacqueline Secrist (Peterson), age 93, passed into heaven on December 20, 2022.  She lived a full life of sports and creative pursuits.  She is the mother of three daughters; Judith Secrist Hoffman, Cynthia Secrist Ragan and the late Patricia Secrist Truett.   Vivian was a loving Christian grandmother of five and great-grandmother of 13.  Vivian was born in Flint, Michigan on February 27, 1929 to the late Hans Olaf and Mary Evelyn (Francey) Peterson and was raised in Atlanta, Michigan.  She loved the country and outdoor activities.  She will be greatly missed.  Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced and held in the Spring of 2023.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Vivian to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
