Vivian Young

Young, Vivian J. - Age 89, of Flint, died August 20, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of service Tuesday. Pastor Brian Olswald will officiate with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Vivian was born July 12, 1932 in Georgia, the daughter of Jim and Minnie (Allen) Womack. She worked as a porter for St. Joseph Hospital. Vivian and Joseph Young were united in marriage on April 16, 1949. She was survived by her 2 daughters; Kathy Davis and Glenda (James) Turcsak; 4 grandchildren, Corey, Kelly, Joel and Taylor Young; and 4 great-grandchildren, Christian, Noah, Lauren and Gavin. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Young; parents, Jim and Minnie Womack; son, Michael Allen; and grandson, Travis Dougherty. Tributes can be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
