Walter Tucker

TUCKER, Walter "Tommy" -- Age 78, of Gladwin formerly of Swartz Creek, died January 26, 2017. A Masonic Service will be held 1 PM Monday January 30 at Sharp Funeral Home Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place 6:30-9 PM Sunday and 9 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Tommy was born August 24, 1938 in Dukedom, TN, the son of William and Carnell (Moore) Tucker. He married Patricia McCoy in Memphis, TN on December 16, 1961. Tommy worked for Chevy V-8 in Flint and retired in 1999 after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458. He was a 32 Degree Mason and was a member of the Shriners. He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish daily. Tommy's grandchildren were his life. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Kevin (Denise) Tucker, Greg (Tracy) Tucker, and Tiffany (Chris) Given; twelve grandchildren, Phil (Amanda), Stephanie (Charles), Robert, Chloe, Noah, Hailea, Joe, Savannah, Tristan, Caroline, Rylee, and Addie ; one great grandson, Brantley; brother in law, William D.
