Wanda Lee Ford

FORD, Wanda Lee -- Age 88, of Flint Township, died Friday, April 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday, May 2 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek. Committal Service will be 1:30 PM Friday May 2 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Thursday May 1; and 11 AM until time of service Friday May 2 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the ALS Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Wanda was born April 11, 1937 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Luther M. and Bonnie Ruth (Bell) Rogers. She married Eugene R. Ford on May 5, 1956; he preceded her in death on December 16, 2023. She had worked at Walmart on Corunna Road for several years. She was an avid reader and gardener. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and genealogy. Wanda was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Ruthann Roby, Amy (Devon) Lougheed; grandchildren, Rachel Bedard, Jacob Lougheed and Laura (Chad) Massey; great grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Maggie, Bailey and Elias; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin; granddaughter-in-law, Janel Lougheed; siblings, Al Manis, Billie Baird, Jean Robinson, Lloyd Rogers, and Joyce Churches. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
