Wanda Griffin

Wanda Griffin (Katta), 94, of Durand, Michigan, formally of Waterford Michigan and North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away January 25, 2017 in her home with family. Wanda was born July 23, 1922 in Detroit MI to Stanley and Mary Katta. She was married to Thomas H. Griffin for over 45 years. Wanda spent her life devoted to her faith and her family. Wanda's loving memory is carried on by her son Raymond Griffin of Byron, Michigan and daughter Cheryl Griffin of Durand, Michigan and her grandchildren Bobbi Emmons (Griffin) of Waterford, Michigan; Douglas VanLeuvan and Angela Logan of Davisburg, Michigan; Steven VanLeuvan of Clarkston, Michigan; Callie VanLeuvan and Brett Kornowski of Byron, Michigan; Michele Griffin of Durand, Michigan; Alexander Griffin of Durand, Michigan and Morgan Griffin of Tuttle, Oklahoma along with 7 great-grandchildren.Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Thomas and her son Kenneth Griffin. At Wanda's request, cremation has taken place with no service or memorial at this time.
