COOPER, Warren E. - Of Thetford Twp., died October 27, 2003 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10AM Friday, October 31, 2003 at the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just south of Hill Rd.). Pastor Darrel Manning officiating. Interment at Thetford Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-9PM on Wednesday from 10-3 and 5-9PM on Thursday and from 9AM until time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family. Mr. Cooper was born November 29, 1939 in Clio, MI, the son of Fredrick Cooper and Kathleen Millard. He was a lifetime resident of the Clio area. He married Dory Anders in Clio on November 10, 1962. Mr. Cooper was an active member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio and was previously an active member of Landmark Baptist Temple of Flint and Community Baptist Church of Millington. Mr. Cooper enjoyed cooking for many church and camp activities. He was a softball coach for several church teams and little league coach in Clio. He is survived by: wife; 2 daughters, Chellie and husband Steve Brownfield, Renee and husband Herb Thompson; 2 grandchildren, Becca Cooper and DaCoda Brownfield all of Thetford Twp.; also surviving 2 brothers, Jerry and wife Janet Cooper of Grand Blanc, Duke and wife Joanie Hatchett of Thetford Twp.; 2 sisters, Lola and husband Al Colden of St. Helen, Shirley Hill and Chris of Thetford Twp.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Preceded in death by his parents, and step-father, Roy Hatchett.
