It is with great sadness that the family of Warren Louis Dupuis announces his passing on May 6, 2026.
Born on September 3, 1947, in Hancock, Michigan, Warren was the son of Irvine C. Dupuis and Elizabeth Hainault Dupuis. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era before building a long career in the Information Technology industry with Electronic Data Systems and General Motors. He retired in 2007 after 39 years of service.
Warren earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University and lived in Fenton for more than three decades. He was a Past President of the Flushing Lions Club, a member of the American Legion, and someone who rarely stayed a stranger for long. Warren had a gift for conversation and made friends easily wherever life took him - from local gathering spots in Michigan to his winters in Panama City Beach, Florida. Whether at a neighborhood bar, a restaurant, or among longtime friends, he was often greeted by name before he even sat down.
He especially enjoyed spending time camping in Harbor Beach and wintering in Florida with his wife, Jane, whom he married on April 27, 1968, in Montague, Michigan. Together they shared 58 years of marriage, family life, travel, friendships, and countless memories.
Warren is survived by his wife, Jane Dupuis; his sons, Philip Dupuis of Flushing and Charles (Jennifer) Dupuis of Geneva, Illinois; his grandchildren Samantha, Mitchell, Cooper, Ethan, Aidan, and Audrey; and great-grandson Charlie.
He is also survived by his siblings Peter Dupuis of Montague, Margaret (Richard Barkley) Dupuis of Eagle River, Donna (Ron) Dupuis of Barrington, Brian (Loretta) Dupuis of Crofton, Maryland, and Jeff Dupuis of Montague.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvine and Elizabeth Dupuis.
Cremation has taken place, and interment with military honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Flushing Lions Club at P.O. Box 191 Flushing, MI 48433.
