Wayne Scott Hoffner

Wayne Scott Hoffner, born on February 12, 1970, in Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, at the age of 55. Wayne is remembered by those who knew him as a kind and loving spirit, qualities that endeared him to family and friends alike. He graduated from Holly High School in 1990, marking a significant achievement in his life.

Though Wayne's life was not defined by grand gestures, his presence and warmth left a lasting impact on those around him. He carried a gentle demeanor that resonated with everyone he met, leaving behind a legacy of kindness.

Wayne is survived by his beloved mother, Elma Hoffner, his brothers, Garry (Kelly) Hoffner and Jeff (Kelly) Hoffner, 4 nephews and many other treasured family members. He was predeceased by his father, Bruce Hoffner, whose memory remained an important part of Wayne's life.

At this time, there will be no formal services held. In remembering Wayne, we reflect on the words,

"God saw you getting tired,

When a cure was not to be.

So He wrapped his arms around you,

and whispered, "Come to me".

You didn't deserve what you went through,

So He gave you rest.

God's garden must be beautiful,

He only takes the best

And when I saw you sleeping,

So peaceful and free from pain

I could not wish you back

To suffer that again."
